The end of rational thinking:
when logical arguments no longer have any validity
and have been replaced by ideological fiction.
The detachment from reality of rulers who would rather replace the people than admit that they themselves are the problem(cfr Bertolt Brecht)
We live a new Inquisition era, made possible by technological evolution and the slow breakdown of the Rule of Law.
Dogma versus reason:
Ideological loyalty is putting group's dogma's ahead of
objective facts. Prioritizing ideological adherence can replace critical thinking, leading individuals or groups to reject facts that challenge their core group or tribe. cfr "ideology based morality"
Note that it goes so far that networks fabricate "facts"!
